Just Hanging Out With My Ghoul Friends

Neve and her school friends, Waverly and Annabelle. Nice face, Neve, haha.
I got to go in an volunteer for Neve's Fall Harvest Party. Can I ask what happened to good old fashioned school Halloween parties? You know, where the preschoolers dress up and parade through the elementary school? Not here in AZ...bummer. Oh well- we are adapting.
These are some of the projects they had posted around the room from this month..

These were the "all about me" posters hanging in the school hallway. Neve was so excited to show me hers.

They had a dress up station where they could try on all kinds of costumes.

Then they played a musical chairs type game and got to pick prizes out of the bucket.

I had a great time seeing her in action. I am bummmed that Nate's class does nothing though. It is supposedly because some of the kids can't "handle it". Well, what about the ones that can?? Isn't that what the extra support is for? grrrrr. :(

Goofin' Around

The next day we set off for Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast. Granny E and Grandpa Patrick came down to see us too!

Neve got to meet some more characters and loved it all.

I love the next one..Neve being shy with Alice. So cute.

The chef also made Neve special gluten free Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. yay!

Neve and her Granny E.

While dancing with Pluto, Neve stole a hug. hahaha. Pluto didn't miss a beat and kept dancing. So funny.

During Breakfast, Nateman popped a high fever and felt horrible. I took his picture here but he looks so pathetic, I don['t wanna remember that. Poor little dude.
BUT we kept on truckin, got meds for Nate, and hopped on the monorail to the park.

Nate with Dad and Granny E on Small World.

Granny E got the kids their first Mickey Ears. Love it!

Ridng Dumbo for the 900th time. :)

Neve outside Big Thunder Mountain, which she says was her favorite ride.

Our little Mouseketeer.

C'mon, Nate! Let's get to the castle!

We ended the (short) day with a ride on the train and a lolly.

Overall a great last day at Disney, despite Nate not feeling too well. He took it easy and stayed in the stroller a lot of the day and rested..except when we got to Dumbo. He was determined to go on it- fever or not!!!

We still aren't sure what caused Nate's fever. he pops those "mystery" fevers sometimes. There is never really a set "cause", just his poor immune system I guess. I am sure Disney set it into overdrive!!!

We were supposed to head to the beach for a bit the next morning, but we cut it short and headed back to Arizona, just in case Nate got worse.

What a fantastic vacation, and the kids could NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER BEHAVED.  I also can't rave enough about how accommodating Disney was for disabilities and special diets. It blew me away. We are so used to battles everywhere and Disney really made it so easy for us. It really is the Happiest Place On Earth!!
We are already planning our next trip to Disney- wahoo! :)

Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO!

Tuesday was all about Neve's princess makeover. Lord- the girl was bustin at the seams to get there. Neve, Grammy Koke, and I headed off for our princess transformation and the boys (Aaron, Grampy Ron, and Nate) headed off to sneak in some rides.

Neve outside the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique....the BEFORE picture, if you will. hahahha

Neve was so cute and walked right up the front check-in and said, "I am here for my makeover, please." LOVE it!
They called her name and she got to shop and pick out which princess she wanted to be. After some deliberation, Sleeping Beauty won out, because, you know, she's pink. :)

After they get all her sizes and such, they pull her outfit and they have it all hanging and waiting for her in her Sleeping Beauty dressing room.

Then it was off to hair and makeup.

She loved picking out her makeup...

..and don't forget nail polish! Princess Pink! (is there ANY other color?)

Then they put on her princess sash and DOUSE the child in glitter. Please watch "THE GLITTER WAND".ha!

Then she gets to see present herself to us as Princess Neve.

Next she powers up her magic wand, and pulls back the curtains so she can see herself for the first time.

Then off to play with forest animals and see her carriage. I mean, what ELSE do princesses do?

We then headed across to California Adventure for our Princess Lunch at Ariel's Grotto...but she snuck in a few dances with Grampy along the way.

We got to meet Ariel, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White. She was beyond excited..and Nateman enjoyed the chicken, rice, and grapes. :)

After lunch we stayed over at California adventure. Nate LOVED LOVED LOVED Soarin over California.

I love this picture. Nate is like, "hmm..not sure WTH happened to my sister, but this smoothie is good.". Ha!

That girl LOVES her Grammy and Grampy so much! So glad they could come!

Then it was time to head out...long day for little princess ..and Nateman too. (..and Mommy and Daddy three and four.)
